Nama Rossa memang sudah lama malang melintang di dunia musik Indonesia. Berkat lagu-lagu hitsnya di tahun 90an, nama Rossa pun kian ikonik bagi penikmat musik saat ini. Salah satu hits terbaiknya dari akhir tahun 90-an adalah lagu “Tegar”. Lagu yang ditulis oleh Melly Goeslaw dan Anto Hoed ini memiliki lirik yang puitis dan alunan lagu yang cukup romantis, padahal makna lagunya sendiri merangkumkan sebuah keresahan hati dalam berkasih. Maka tak heran ketika lagu “Tegar” menjadi salah satu lagu Rossa yang tak akan pernah lekang oleh waktu.

Dan setelah 20 tahun, bukanlah hal yang berlebihan ketika Rossa memutuskan untuk mengaransemen ulang lagu “Tegar”. Dengan bantuan dari Ronald Steven dalam mengaransemen musik dan Gamaliel Tapiheru dalam memproduseri vokalnya, lagu “Tegar 2.0” pun tercipta. Tanpa meninggalkan nuansa keresahan hati yang sangat erat terikat dalam lagu original “Tegar”, dalam lagu “Tegar 2.0” Rossa ingin membawa perasaan galaunya tersebut dalam kemasan yang berbeda.

Selain itu, sebuah musik video juga sudah dipersiapkan. Disutradarai oleh Lando, musik videonya kali memang berbeda dari musik video Rossa sebelumnya. Dengan mengandalkan setting tempat minimalis yang colorful, sedikit koreografi simpel dan sambil mengenakan koleksi busana dan perhiasan dari brand Time International, membuat musik videonya kali ini lebih terasa seperti video fashion yang menarik.

Directed by Lando, this time, the music video is different from Rossa’s previous music videos. By relying on a colorful minimalist setting, a little simple choreography, and wearing a collection of clothing and jewelry from the Time International brand, the music video feels more like an exciting fashion video.
